Help Me, I’m Bald

  • Receding Hairline keeping you up at night?
  • Stressed out about your hair loss?
  • Worried that the opposite sex (or the same sex) won’t find you attractive with your follicle challenged head?
  • Alopecia getting you down?

RugOrReal is here to help

Except - we are not experts in hair loss.  We are experts in making fun of celebrity hair loss. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have compassion for your follicle loss.  Our recommendation before you pursue a wig, toupee, weave, piece, extensions or other is to do your research.

Try this site as a start: http://www.ishrs.org/?src=gg&grp=hairloss

(Women and hair loss:  First step - see a decent family doctor immediately and get your hormones checked.)

Keep in mind that internet research is not enough before you spend a lot of money on something that has the potential of looking incredibly ridiculous.  Please consider the following: Is the shape of your head attractive or ugly?  Either way, think about embracing being bald. Bald is sexy with the right head and the right face including ugly faces.

If you are ugly, don’t get down, get confidence!  With confidence you can be sexy no matter what you look like.  With confidence you will make more money.  Confidence and money is an irresistible combination for many.

Don’t forget many beautiful women have married ugly men:

Some with talent….

And some with money....

And some with a job at CNN....

So if you don’t have talent, money or a job at CNN…work on your confidence.  People are attracted to people who have it.

RugOrReal knows that we all have our troubles and we all have our genetic strengths and weaknesses.  We also have our bad times, our bad years and some of us are just plain stuck with a bad life.  (Damn that Karma – Why did I have to be a serial killer in my past life!)

So before spending your hard earned money:

  • Think about going bald
  • Consider all options: lotions, potions, rugs, plugs, weaves and pieces.
  • Ask questions to other wig wearers and mattel heads on our forum
  • Ask for recommendations for wig shops and plug doctors on our forum
  • Blame your parents.

Finally – If you decide to wear a Wig – Wear your Wig with Pride!
Stand by your hair plugs!  Stand tall with your weave!  Fess up to your solutions.  (Everybody, even strangers, know you are doing something anyway so you might as well be frank about it and the whispers will stop)

Good Luck and Best Health to all.
